Yes, registering with the MLC only entitles you to a portion of your mechanical royalties – the portion related to interactive streaming audio and limited digital downloads. Under law, the MLC is prohibited from collecting many other forms of mechanical royalties that creators and publishers are entitled to including all forms of international royalties (digital, radio, TV or otherwise), video royalties (YouTube, TikTok, fitness apps, gaming apps, etc.), and physical royalties (vinyl, CDs, etc.).
