No, you do not need an ISRC in order to register a song. An ISRC represents a sound recording and a song can be registered even if no recordings of it exist yet.

However, you should try to do everything you can to ensure you add the correct ISRC(s) to your songs in AllTrack, as we use those recording IDs to match your songs to the recording data provided to us by music services - which will get you paid faster!
