The writer's share is the share of publishing royalties owed to a writer. Music publishing income is split evenly between the songwriter “Writer’s Share” and the publisher “Publisher’s Share”. Each share is worth 50% of the copyright, hence if you are the only writer on your song then your writer’s share is 50%. With AllTrack you’ll still collect both the writer and the publisher shares directly and keep 100% of your royalties.
